Verizon flipping a slew of LTE switches on Thursday

Verizon announced today that it will be turning on its LTE coverage in a slew of cities this Thursday, May 19. Customers in the following cities will soon be cruising in the fast lane: Mobile, Ala. Montgomery, Ala. Pensacola, Fla. Tallahassee, Fla. Fayetteville-Lumberton, N.C. In addition, Verizon will be expanding its LTE network to cover a larger area in the following markets: Denver, Colo. Philadelphia, Pa. What's it mean for you? If you're rocking an HTC ThunderBolt or Droid Charge, you'll now be able to take full advantage of LTE.
